La Piantata is a charming bed and breakfast that offers not only rooms and apartments but also three exceptional treehouses:

Suite Bleue

Just a stone’s throw from the olive grove, Renzo Stucchi fulfilled a childhood dream with Suite Bleue. This treehouse sits eight meters above ground, nestled in the dense foliage of a centuries-old oak in the middle of a 12-hectare lavender field.

Far from the stresses of daily life, it’s the perfect place to dream, read, write, listen to music, and relax. Inside, you’ll find a double room with views of a plant-surrounded terrace and a spacious bathroom. Suite Bleue offers complete harmony with nature, making dreams come true.

Black Cabin

Eco-luxury at its finest. The Black Cabin is Europe’s largest treehouse and combines high-end technology with an immersive nature experience. It’s designed for those who want sustainable travel without sacrificing luxury.

Suspended seven meters above the ground beneath a 200-year-old maritime pine, this 87-square-meter masterpiece offers panoramic views of olive groves, lavender fields, the Monti Cimini mountains, and the sea near Tarquinia.

Created by interior designer Claudia Pelizzari, the Black Cabin blends natural materials like linen, cotton, cedarwood, glass, and steel. Features include LED lighting, black steel panels, Italian clay walls, a Bose home theater system, Corian shower, dressing room, heating, air conditioning, and a sea-view relaxation zone.

Papyrus and Ivy

The two newest additions to La Piantata, Papyrus and Ivy, are located four meters above ground and surrounded by olive trees. Their shared terrace even offers a sea view and is connected by a 14-meter Tibetan bridge.

Each 22-square-meter treehouse accommodates two guests and features fir interiors and larch exteriors. Amenities include air conditioning, heating, kettle, refrigerator, TV, Bluetooth sound system, Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Breakfast is delivered directly to the treehouse, and parking is available on-site.
