Baumhaus Lodge

While vacationing in New Zealand, Franz Steiner came across a treehouse. Later, during a walk through the long-abandoned stone quarry in Schrems, the idea took root: treehouses would be a perfect fit for this unique setting. What began as a dream soon became reality. Today, five treehouses await guests seeking peace and quiet on this natural property with its idyllic pond. Highlights include the 18-meter-high Turmhaus (tower house) and two Klippenhäuser (cliff houses) that hover above the water. Even the lowest treehouse gives an instant sense of freedom and distance from everyday life. A stay at the Baumhaus Lodge Schrems offers a truly special treehouse experience in Lower Austria.
